NHS and Health-Board Managers who Stay on the Roster: An Online MSc from Katowice without Emptying the Ward

Abstract

Polish health boards cannot send every emerging manager to a year off the rota. This study evaluates SEU health-management students working in NHS Poland and in care organisations, studying online, with optional Katowice intensives. Capstones that improved a real flow, documentation or winter-pressure protocol were used. Generic leadership essays were not. Night-shift students needed asynchronous clinics. Silesian Eurasia University should keep health management distinct from clinical registration. The Katowice campus is a resource, not a gate that online NHS staff must pass through to be ‘real’.
